The Junction - High Wycombe

The Junction is the place for all young people in High Wycombe. 

The Junction offers;

  • A Timetable of weekly activities (boxing, yoga, HIIT, nutrition advice)
  • A space for socialising and leisure activities (pool tables, PlayStation, hang out spots)
  • Crisis support clinics – providing advise, help and support for all of your problems

Plus much much more!

All sessions are free of charge and are drop-in with no need to book your place. Join our Junction team for one of our fun activities, bring your friends or come along to meet new people.

Welcome to The Junction

The Junction is a multi service drop-in youth centre offering a range of planned sessions and activities all under one roof. The services and activities will cater for young people aged 12-18 years (up to 25 SEND) and provide specialist support to help young people with their problems, as well as a timetable of activities for all young people to get involved in.

Support will be provided in the following areas.

A Youth Space for socialising and leisure activities

Health and wellbeing; a timetable of weekly activities focussing on positive mental and physical wellbeing

Crisis support clinics; a drop in service operating five days a week where young people can come in and access specialist support and signposting in the below areas from trained staff

Monday – Girls Night

Come and join us for our Girls Night each Monday from 4-8pm! We now have a theme each week, including Movie Night, Crafts, Informative Sessions, Sports, Board Games and Cooking. We also have meditation and mindfulness, as well as a big space to use to play pool, table tennis or sit and listen to music! You can also make a drink, have a snack and catch up with friends or meet new people from around the area. We are always open to new ideas too, so let us know what you would love to experience a session in! For more information, call 0300 003 2334, or just come along on a Monday evening!

  • Crafts – Origami, macramé, pottery painting, pom poms
  • Sports Session – Boxing, climbing, self-defence, gym session, acrobatics
  • Cooking – making fudge, making a recipe book, mug cakes
  • Meditation/Mindfulness
  • Music/Movies/Film – movie night, music session, quizzes
  • Information/Skills – CV workshops, drawing classes, hair tutorials
  • Board Games Night – Bring and share, tournaments
  • Social Action – Local charity talks, clothes swap

 

Counselling at The Junction

If you are worried, anxious, or going through some struggles in your life right now, but not sure how to deal with them, come and talk to us.

We provide counselling in a safe and confidential environment. You will find someone to talk to who listens to you, cares for you, gives you emotional support and empowers you to find a solution.

You don’t need to book in advance, just pop in to speak to one of our team members about counselling and they will be able to give you the information you need.

Counselling at The Junction is a free service. Our sessions last for 50 minutes, once a week. Most people come to counselling for several sessions over a few weeks, but everyone is different. You are in charge, so pop in to speak to us and we will be able to assist you further.
