Your most frequently asked questions

Below you’ll find answers to the questions we get asked the most about Action4Youth membership for youth groups.

Running a successful youth group providing enjoyable and challenging activities for children and young people is likely to require guidance and training. Unless you have lots of experience, the amount of activity and organisation planning, volunteer recruitment, DBS checks, appropriate insurance cover, and safeguarding to mention a few, can become overwhelming.

The advice and training we offer will help you grow and develop your youth group with a safe and structured environment for children, young people and your volunteer/staff team.

We can provide information, hands on advice, and guidance for new and established youth groups. Included in your membership is direct access to a designated Action4Youth contact who can advise and give guidance on policy, governance, recruitment, planning, and training, and give access to invaluable information like policy models and funding opportunities.

Action4Youth membership for youth groups is £100 per year. You can pay for your membership online, or call us on 0300 003 2334.

We can provide advice on safer volunteer and staff recruitment and help with up to 10 free DBS checks per year.

The first 10 DBS checks per year are free, and additional checks can be provided at a cost of £10 each.

We can provide the right training for your Youth Group delivered by our experienced and qualified trainers. All courses are accredited by Action4Youth and designed to provide critical information within engaging sessions.
