Xtremely good fun for an Xtremely good cause!

The Caldecotte Xtreme Challenge promises fun and something a little different.

Participants navigate a thrilling obstacle course across land and water. Designed to build teamwork, the course provides exhilarating challenges from climbing, abseiling, caving, striking arrows, canoeing, running, and wading. There’s no event like it.

By taking part, teams will be helping create life-enhancing experiences for all young people, especially for those with disabilities and complex needs.

The Caldecotte Xperience offers a unique safe place where children and young people of all ages and all abilities have freedom, fun and feel exhilarated. Outdoor education provides the opportunity for young people to test their limits, discovering what they can do rather than what they can’t. This is particularly treasured by those with disabilities and their families – yes they can go up a climbing wall! Yes they can go on the water! – all things typically not possible or accessible. We celebrate ability and see thousands of smiles every year.

By taking part your donation will help create a vibrant, exciting and adventurous, fully-inclusive platform for thousands more young people in their community and for generations to come.

Join us in Securing Life Changing Experiences for all Young People Both Now and in the Future

How Can You Help?

Simply round up a team of four to six people and tackle an adventurous obstacle course across land and water. Designed to build teamwork and provide exhilarating challenges from climbing, archery, running to canoeing, there’s no event like it!

You’ll be given an arrival time, a quick briefing and then the fun really begins! Teams will need strength, agility and composure to claim victory across the finish line towards that shiny medal. The course takes around 2 hours to complete but allow 3 hours for the whole experience. Feel free to bring a cheer squad!

Sounds scary? Relax, it’s fun, we promise! We’ll be there to help you and if an 8 year old can do it, so can you! Bring out your fearless side and become a legend with your team!

Consider comfortable clothing that is appropriate for land and water-based activities. We would advise quick-drying clothing/waterproof items and to avoid denim. No-one likes a soggy bottom! Footwear needs to be sturdy and suitable for running, climbing and being generally active.

Bring the pep! We are excited to meet you and your team! Also, remember your water bottle, suncream, a hat, a spare change of clothes and a towel.

Yes – we will be taking some great action shots of the day! We can share these with your team following the event for web and social media. If you wish to opt out from any photography, there is the option to do so on the registration form.

There sure is but it’s always nice to car share and good for the environment too.

You’re very welcome to bring a cheer squad to rally you on the day. Please let us know numbers. We will provide any spectators with a visitor lanyard for the duration of their visit,

Your loss but just remember an 8 year old can do it!
