Our Family Adventure Sessions are designed for families who want to get active, try something new and make lasting memories together.
From taking to the water to tackling challenges on dry land, you’ll spend the session getting stuck into instructor-led activities as a family – with plenty of opportunities for fun, teamwork and a little friendly competition along the way.
No previous experience is needed. Just bring your sense of adventure!
Morning session: 9.00am–12.30pm
Afternoon session: 1.30pm–5.00pm
Price: £25 per person
What to expect
Every Family Adventure Session includes two activities – one water-based and one land-based – each one led by our experienced instructors.
Depending on the session, activities could include:
- Stand up paddleboarding
- Canoeing
- Kayaking
- High ropes (climbing, abseiling, leap of faith)
- Archery
- Bushcraft
- Other adventure activities
Activities vary according to the session, group and conditions, so you may not know exactly what you’ll be doing until you arrive – it’s all part of the adventure!
All specialist activity equipment is provided.

Spend the afternoon getting outdoors, trying something different and having an adventure together.
£25 per ticket
Unfortunately, we cannot accept Tax-Free Childcare and Childcare Voucher payments for Family Adventure Sessions.
Adventure is better together
You don’t need to be an experienced adventurer – our sessions are for families who simply want to spend some fun, active time together.
Our instructors will guide you through each activity, helping everyone take part at a level they feel comfortable with.
Whether you’re cheering each other on, learning a new skill or discovering who is the most competitive member of the family, it’s a chance to do something different together and create memories away from the usual routine.
Bookings are for a minimum of two people and must include at least adult and one child aged 16 or under. Children must take part alongside an accompanying adult.
What to bring
Come dressed ready to get active outdoors. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting wet or muddy.
Please bring:
- A full change of clothes, including underwear
- Swimwear
- A towel
- Trainers or suitable closed-toe footwear
- A change of footwear or water shoes
- Waterproof jacket or waterproofs
- Refillable water bottle
- Sun cream and sun hat in warmer weather
- A bag for wet clothes and shoes
