Action4Youth is proud to be a charity partner for the Franklins £50 Challenge – a brilliant way for teams to test their entrepreneurial skills, have some fun and raise vital funds to support young people.
What is the Franklins £50 Challenge?
The Franklins £50 Challenge is a local initiative that sees teams across Milton Keynes, Northampton and the surrounding areas compete to raise as much money as possible for one of the participating local charities, including Action4Youth.
Franklins Solicitors LLP will give your team £50 and three months to grow it as much as you can. You can be as creative as you dare, as long as your fundraising is safe and legal.
The 2026 challenge runs from 23 February to 29 May.
Why get involved?
Taking part in the £50 Challenge offers a wide range of benefits:
- Teambuilding – bring people together around a shared goal.
- Employee engagement – boost morale and pride in your organisation.
- Corporate Social Responsibility – support a local charity with real community impact.
- Brand awareness – raise your profile across Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire.
- Stimulates creativity – encourage innovative, enterprising ideas.
- Make a difference – every pound you raise helps transform young lives.
- Expand your network – connect with other teams, businesses and charities.
Whether you are a business, school, community group or club, the challenge is a fantastic way to engage your team and inject some fun into everyday life.
How does it work?
- Form your team – Gather colleagues, friends or group members who are up for a challenge.
- Choose your charity – Select which charity you would like to support from the list of 12 charity partners – we would love you to choose Action4Youth.
- Receive your £50 – Franklins Solicitors LLP will give your team £50 of seed funding to get started.
- Grow your £50 – You then have from 23 February to 29 May 2026 to turn that £50 into as much as possible through fundraising activities and mini-enterprises.
- Keep it safe and legal – You can be as imaginative as you like with your ideas, provided everything is safe, legal and in line with basic fundraising guidelines.
Support along the way
You will receive a toolkit with everything you need to get started, including guidance, ideas and promotional materials.
Throughout the challenge:
- Franklins Solicitors and
- Your chosen charity (Action4Youth, we hope!)
will be on hand to support you with fundraising ideas and marketing support to help you maximise your impact.
At the end of the campaign, Franklins hosts a celebration event to thank all the teams, share results and recognise standout fundraising efforts.
