We are an established, energetic youth charity who provide positive, often transformational experiences and activities which inspire children and young people.

Our aim is to enable young people of all abilities and disabilities to learn to challenge themselves and work with others - learning what they can achieve rather than what they can’t.

What we do

Everything we do engages the rising generation of our community to work together in helping not only themselves but each other.

It's about inspiring young people to become Inspiring Young People.

Action4Youth operates an outdoor adventure and learning centre: The Caldecotte Xperience.

We operate The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and a number of other programmes such as, the National Citizen Service for the area and the Inspiration Programme. We also represent a membership of youth clubs and organisations throughout the county, giving guidance and support to help their growth and development.

Outcomes: The shared experience of the activities contribute to a range of outcomes for those who take part, delivering self confidence, personal development and esteem, teamwork, leadership, community engagement and ultimately work readiness.

Action4Youth has helped me with my maths and the instructor, Chris, was very friendly. I also made new friends and got exercise.
It has helped me become more independent and experience new things I wouldn’t have otherwise.
I feel more confident about maths now, and I feel I have improved already.

VICTA regularly run activity breaks for children and young people who are blind or partially sighted. The Caldecotte Xperience is one of our most frequent venues; in 2016 we used it 6 times for a variety of different events, ranging from one off Family Days to 4 night residentials. We already have at least 4 events booked in for 2017. - VICTA

We visited The Caldecotte Xperience for the first time this Summer; staying in the wonderful Yurt Village. We supported a group of 16 young people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism. We took advantage of many of the fabulous activities on site and were extremely well looked after by the staff team. The open spaces and wooded areas, within safe boundaries afforded the opportunity for the young people to explore in a safe environment, Accessible facilities onsite were excellent. The Caldecotte Xperience is a magical place and we will certainly be back! - Yellow Submarine

Extremely impressed with the professionalism of the instructors, their knowledge and support throughout the two days. There were excellent facilities and execution of the activities. The group totally enjoyed their experiences. Thank you! We’ll definitely recommend to others! - Parker School

Superb facilities, instruction and hospitality, our children visibly grew in confidence during our residential visit - a fabulous experience! We shall certainly return. - Queens Park Academy

As a school we have around 180 pupils, ranging from 2-19 years, all of which have complex special needs (Severe Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Sensory Impairments, Epilepsy to name but a few). Every one of our children is unique and the experience that they get from visiting The Caldecotte Xperience is second to none. - The Redway School, Milton Keynes
