Wheelyboat naming competition

Win a free watersports session for your class at Caldecotte Xperience

Can your class create a WHEELY GREAT name for our new boat?

To celebrate the arrival of our new Wheelyboat, Action4Youth is asking primary and special needs schools in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area to come up with a catchy name, in a Boaty McBoatface style competition!

The specially adapted power boat has roll-on, roll-off access to enable young wheelchair users and those with high dependency needs the opportunity to enjoy the excitement of water sports, without the need to leave their chairs.

The new wheelyboat will be launched at the Caldecotte Xperience, Action4Youth’s outdoor centre in Milton Keynes at a special event on Thursday 15 March 2018.

As well as winning the opportunity to attend the exclusive launch event, along with local VIPs and special guests, and formally name the boat the winning class will receive a water sports session at the Caldecotte Xperience in summer 2018. The winners name will also be displayed on the boat.

For your chance to WIN, we need your class to show us their creativity and innovation and to come up with a catchy name for the boat that will transform experiences and opportunities for young people with severe or complex needs.  All you need to do is come up with the name, complete the entry form on this page and tell us the name of your school, class and your suggestion.

The Competition is open from now until 9 February 2018. The winning name will be voted on by our Twitter Followers, with all shortlisted names Tweeted with #A4YWheelieGreatName, and announced on Twitter and via the school on 16 February 2018. The winning class will need to be available to attend the launch event from 11am until 12:30pm on 15 March 2018.
