'Do Something 2010-2011' - CLUBS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

The new Clubs for Young People Do Something Programme for 2010-2011 has been launched and is available now online at http://www.dosomething.org.uk

Do Something is our national programme of events and activities, encouraging young people at youth clubs to get involved, enjoy themselves, take on new challenges and achieve success. Around 30,000 young people participate in Do Something every year, either at county or regional level or at one of our many national events.

This year’s programme offers the most exciting range of activities to date. In addition to our well-known sports events such as football, netball, boxing and table-tennis, young people now have the chance to try a wide range of new activities including graffiti art, music, photography and street dance. Clubs for Young People also offer multi-activity programmes specifically developed for work with young women as well as similarly tailored programmes for young men.

Along aside the activities on offer, Do Something also provides a range of accredited training and leadership opportunities to young people, allowing them to challenge themselves and achieve while also gaining a recognised accreditation.
